    Oy vey.
     I know, there's a good chance I deserve this for where I RP, but I must ask... Why?

    What makes you think that despite it being totally uncharacteristic of my character, that you can lure her into a seedy business relationship? I know the play we RP is a mishmash of characters of varying time points. But really, she's a aristocratic victorian woman. She has standards. It even says on her character website that it's a demand that she must be courted. What makes you so special that you think you can buy pass that? And even worse, what makes you think I will allow you to force her into 'submitting' to you. Non-consensual scares me. Hell, Rping sexual encounters in general makes me super uncomfortable. I've expressly told you this several times, that I'm often a 'Fade-To-Black' type person unless I am in a 'Lets try writing erotica' mood. And what's even worse, is you whisper me every day trying to force me into this. I don't care how sexy your character is. She doesn't find you appealing. I do love Rping with you, but I honestly am not going to put up with this much longer. In this place, there are hundreds of girls, and men, playing easy whores of every race, gender, fetish, and type. I bet you could get several of them at once for a mass RP in a jiff. Why do you insist on bothering me?

    Dreaded letter format. . .
     Dear you, who I have been rping with a year now.

    You go the whole day without talking to me only to jump on me. You didn't say hi, or ask how I was or anything. I didn't IM you because you never talk to me anymore when all your other friends are on, nor do you want to rp with me when these vastly superior beings are around to rp with you. But I don't care, honestly, it's the way you acted when you finally did talk to me about the rp we've been working on before I was your lonely day role play partner. You know, when you actually liked me.

    You IM me after being online for the whole entire day (IM'ing me at 1am.) and you tell me what you're going to do with fic we've been working on. A fic we've been writing as RP for over a year now. You don't even ask me about my opinion. You just tell me what you're going to do with it. Anything I mention gets met with basically a, "Yeah, well I'm doing this." Why did you even ask me where we were starting when you told me right after where YOU were going to start?

    Why did you ask me anything when you discarded my thoughts right off the bat?

    I'm also tired of the way you act about how everything is your idea on everything. Probably the reason that seems like such is that most of my ideas are tossed right out. But you know, I've written half of this two and I'm tired of being belittled.

    Honestly, I'd rather it not be posted at all at this point of time if ever. I gave up on it. I've asked you for MONTHS to post something and quite frankly, I've entirely given up on the whole thing. We'll post one, maybe two, or three chapters at the most until you got bored with it.

    I'd offer to edit it myself, in case you shove that in my face and tell me I never edit, but I know any editing I did would not be to your satisfaction because you want control over it all!

    Then when I go quiet, you get all snarky and run off. Why didn't I respond? Well, easy, there was nothing for me to say. You already have your mind made up on this, so why ask me? I mean, I only wrote half of this, it's not like my opinion matters.

    I'm done fighting with you. I'd very much like to have some input on this myself, but if you can't even afford me a little I really don't want our fic to be posted. It's not right and it's not fair. We had talked about these things before, it's not right for you to change YOUR mind and decide that's the way it's going to be.

    What's really ironic is that I'm only the helper and sometimes coauthor on another person's rp fic, but she certainly gives me a whole heckuva lot more credit than you do. She also asks my opinion on things and takes my opinion into account.

    I'm also tired of how jealous you get. You ignore me entirely, you don't want to rp anything with me anymore unless it's your idea. All of my ideas get tossed out. When I mention I'm writing a fic for a friend, you get all bent out of shape, telling me how when you wanted to rp that, I wasn't interested. When I say I don't remember this, you basically call me a liar and say that it happened before I broke up with my ex. I broke up with my ex in June. Seriously? You throw out my ideas for rp all the time, but yet if I dare say no to you, you act like I kicked your dog and you harbor it until infinity.

    I honestly don't know what to do about you. If I say anything, it'll just be a huge fight, but I really don't want our RP posted at this point, not when we can't even talk to each other. I feel like if I say no, you'll post it anyways, and what will come of it will be something that'll end up on fandom wank.

     Look. The point at which to question my character's ability to pick up and run off with your big heavy thing is before - or even during - the theft. Not after you have already ICly given up on trying to stop me. And certainly not after you've ICly left the area.

    At that point, it just looks like you're trying to whine at me to give it back. Which...if it's so important to you, why did you give up on trying to stop me in favor of providing support for the guy who's already escaping safely?
    Did you just realize that maybe handing over your shiny, heavy piece of tech to me - and, as a result, my boss - wasn't such a bright idea? 'Cause it's a little late to do anything about it now.

    Oh, and by the way? My character can control air and gravity, in addition to the whole bit where he's a large robot. He's totally capable of picking up your two-ton whatsit and running off with it, even if he is seriously injured.

    Is it just me, or does it sound more like a drama killer to have a bunch of characters from one person standing around, backing each other up, and telling each other how great they are?

    ETA this little gem from a recent post by this player:

'how about I buy you a drink if I loose, and you buy mine if I win. that way we both get something out of it either way.' he smiled and chuckled as he said it.     Characters' names have been replaced with those of My Little Pony dolls. If you don't think it's ghastly enough for me, then go ahead and pretend they're named after serial killers or something.

    So you think I'm really good at playing Lickety-Split, and want me to join your game? Wow, that's really neat, I'd love a chance to play with you. Despite being one of the cursed undead, I am an easily-flattered soul, and you seem like a really creative and entertaining player. Even though Sundance is a minor character and never met Lickey-Split or Cherries Jubilee canonly, you've fleshed her out and made her interesting. I like people who can do that.

    Waaaait a second, you seem to really dislike Lickety-Split. After two seconds of skimming your posts, I discover that you think of her as a shallow, manipulative shrew, and are convinced that her potential love interest who she cares deeply for, Cherries Jubilee, hates her and is way too good for her.

    It's a little off-putting, but I don't think much of it (particularly since I have no interest in pursuing pairings in this game) and continue playing with you guys. I mean, I am having fun. It seems dumb to get offended over differing opinions. Turns out you're also obsessed with the crack pairing of Sundance/Cherries Jubilee. It is kinda weird, due to the fact that Sundance is still a young child and Cherries Jubilee, uh, isn't, but whatever, each to their own, man.

    Waitasecond, why is it that every time we play you intentionally try to twist the situation into a way Sundance can compete with Lickety-Split? Additionally, you seem 100% convinced that Sundance would always win, despite the fact that Lickety-Split is an incredibly experienced in their canon skill while Sundance is a young and childish novice. It's weird, because this sense of competition extends to absolutely everything I RP with you. If Lickety-Split wants to go out for ice cream with their friends, Sundance already bought them all the ice cream in the world. If Lickety-Split has a cat, Sundance has a pet golden tiger named Princess Sparkledust who can grant wishes and fly. If Lickety-Split decides to help grandma carry her groceries, Sundance can teleport the groceries with her mind, and has also made grandma a new tea cosy. If Lickety-Split makes an impactful statement during a tense moment, Sundance immediately drops to her knees screaming and sobbing the exact same sentiment Lickety-Split just said but in an overblown way, to ensure that absolutely no one reacts to Lickety-Split. It's not even like you're acknowledging it in a "Sundance is protective of the guy she likes and wants to outdo Lickety-Split" way, you seem to genuinely want to portray to the rest of the game that Sundance is just a superior person. I literally cannot do a scene with you without you trying to twist the scenario into a new opportunity for Sundance to show off and, notably, you don't do this with ANY other players besides me, all of which are your good friends who play characters you adore to pieces. It doesn't help that all the great plots you told me you wanted to get Lickety-Split involved in are turning out to be "Lickety-Split gets to react to Sundance's epic quests of amazing".

    Okay, now it is really difficult for me to pretend this is all just a coinci-
    OH COME ON. Now you want us to play a "just for fun, future alternate universe oneshot" where Lickety-Split finds out that Cherries Jubilee and the now-drop-dead-sexy-and-totally-grown-up-sex-kitten Sundance are sleeping together, and Lickety-Split gets totes heartbroken and Sundance uses her outstanding wit and kung-fu to pwn her just 'cause she can? Seriously?

    I don't even know what to say. Did you seriously invite me to your game and pretend you want to RP with me just to fulfill some elaborate fantasy where your pet character gets to pwn your least favorite and steal the object of their affection? WTF.

    Even now this is difficult for me to comprehend. It just seems too bizarre and petty. For the evil dead, I apparently have a disproportionately large faith in humanity. A pox on you, and all your houses! I will be taking my ponies elsewhere.

     Protip! When trying to convince me to do a certain idea with you that I find rather stereotypical and stupid, the argument "But I did it with someone else and it was GREAT!" doesn't help much. Nor does starting any of your sentences with "I'll be the bigger person."

    Short and Bittersweet:
     Considering the fact that you've been dropping heavy-handed hints both IC and OOC since this story's conception, why are you getting offended that neither my character nor I were particularly caught off guard when your girl finally came out and blatantly stated that she's a prostitute?

    When your character's first introduction to mine was to blurt out "Oops, sorry, I thought you were a client--I mean, friend," while wearing a completely slutty get-up in the AMs on a barren, industrial road, how stupid do you think my character would have to be to not immediately catch on? e.e

    PS: Being a prostitute in a post-apocalyptic world isn't quite as taboo as you seem to think it is. With the entire world in shambles and many groups of people struggling to just barely survive, there isn't much of an oppressive government around to make rules against having sex for money.

    So we have a small player base, and you, oh DM, have been complaining about the lack of players, how there's no one new to play with, why don't we have more players, yadda yadda yadda...

    Le gasp! Let there be new players!

    Now, with these shining newbies in our presence, YOU ignore all requests for DM help. *eyebrow lift* Wtf?! And you, who were so pointed in making sure I didn't get any DM position when I volunteered to act as one to run events for the other DMs who get tired of taking up all the slack- namely one poor DM who does ALL the events by herself- just sit there IC and sulk when you're asked to log on with your DM sign-in and help.

    ...all right, did I miss something here? Since when did complaining about your DM duties indicate good things to the new players we're trying to KEEP here? *facedesk*

    Incidentally, getting into a verbal bitch fight with another DM- one who logged in when I asked him to specifically to help the poor newbie who was figuring out how things work on our server- while he's trying to help the newbs? NOT HELPING.

    If you're going to complain that no one wants to play with you- is it scary this is the same player that I've mentioned in the first couple of posts I put up? And that he's a DM? Seriously... Be afraid.- and that there's never anyone new on the server, -don't scare away the new people who come in!!!!!!!!!!-

     First time rant, and sloppy because I'm not raging, just...twitching and irritated.

    Yes, my Joshua is gay. No, he will not have sex with your character. No, he does not fuck everything in sight in the canon series.

    NO, it is not OOC for him to refuse to fuck your character immediately after meeting him. My Joshua is touch-phobic. He cracks the jokes, but will not be okay with touching right away. He doesn't even let Neku touch him. We are not in a comm together, we are not good friends, I told you know, Joshua told HIM no, so just...STOP IT.

    And by the way? Greeting me when I get online with "____ smirks and reaches out to grope Yoshiya's ass" is fucking creepy. I don't like you. At all. If you're going to greet me AT ALL, greet ME, don't try and rape my character.

    Speaking of the rape thing? Joshua can blow your character up in a millisecond. Your character is NOT stronger, NOT smarter, NOT faster, he is just a horny gay boy who is a little bigger than Joshua. Rape? No. It's not even possible, let alone wanted.

    If I see you reserve at my comm, I am telling our mods. Because that is just not okay.

    dear GM...
     Please don't start inserting all this whitewolf in our 4th ed D&D campaign! Tzimice and black spiral dancers? Not as special when one of the party members is an undead drow sumonner with a psychic link to his twin sister, and another one was a human sorcerer who basically turned himself into a dragonborn through alchemy and sets himself on fire as a valid combat technique... (yes, our evil team is made of freaks... to be fair, this is my first non-standard character)

    I didn't sign up to play V:TM! Besides, three out of four players at least know way too much about the whitewolf games. I know you really like them, but I overdosed on that stuff ages ago and the mention of vampires still make me itch.

    Is it so hard to give a yes or a no?
     This is just really really irritating me right now. In the game I'm in you are required to run player run plot events through the mods first. This I have no problem with, it makes it so not too many things happen all at once, or cause problems with each other. But, this method only works if the mods actually communicate with the players about their plots.

    I submitted my request somewhere between three and four months ago, contacted a mod about it, revised it and... still waiting for a response. First time I contacted them they said I would have to wait for things to settle down, that's fine, I can wait. I'm not super impatient, but... at this point it would be nice to get a yes or a no by now. If it's something they don't want to go for, I'm all fine with nixing it, or changing it, but having it out right ignored is really aggravating. Especially since not long ago it was mentioned people were not requesting plots.

    Is it really that hard to reply to something with a "yes go for it" or a "no, we don't like where this is going"?

    Dear you and you and you....

    I understand that furry stuff is fun for you. I get that you prefer to roleplay animals and anthros. I will accept that your spiritual beliefs are just as valid as any other belief system...usually. I acknowledge the existence of spiritual therianthropy, and understand that for some people, being human really DOESN'T make sense, and so you turn to an animal form. And I'm all right with that. But there are things that really have to stop.

    YOU: I understand that you think you have the soul of an animal, and that you think that people telling you this is impossible are out to get you. That doesn't mean you need to make an entire canon based around how HORRIBLE humans are, and how everyone pursecutes the darling animals and their furry lifemates. It doesn't mean you should, by stating that all humans are evil and those who aren't have the soul of an animal, force people to have to play furries so their character is not looked down on. At the moment, I'm playing an evil furry and a good human...we'll see how long it lasts before I start getting shit. I'm imagining not long.

    YOU...are more of an OOC issue than an IC issue, but since you're obnoxious all round, I'ma say it anyway: Just....shut up. Your spirituality is your business. I'm glad you're proud of yourself, but please...just stop. I am tired of hearing about your newest discovery in whatever LOLSPESHUL form your "soul" is taking this week. And stop using some random furry art site as your be-all and end-all explanation of what animal totems represent. That's not how it works at all.

    YOU: For fuck's sake. Please, stop taking a book that I loved in high school (and still love) and turning it into some weird furry fantasy. The concepts laid down by Philip Pullman are NOT meant to represent therianthropy. You might have missed the point, but in Lyra's Oxford, EVERYONE had a daemon. Not just the LOLSUPARSPSESHUL furries. So why your His Dark Materials RP canon consists of only the SPECIAL who go through some sort of trauma getting a daemon....I don't understand. And please stop claiming that you have a daemon. If you are seeing an animal follow you around and talk to you...there might be some problems here. Thanks for taking a canon I desperately wanted to roleplay in and RUINING it.

    I think I might have to start my own now, just to counteract the MASSIVE SUCK that you're putting out.

    Just a rant
     More of a rant than really a suck.

    So this thread I had started specifically for this person's character and mine has been rotting on the forum since the end of September. I understand people have lives, but when you say you've been busy and you'll get around to a reply then show back up posting on your other character in other rps, it kinda upsets me a little you know? It makes me think I'm boring, or I suck. So if I'm either of those, I'd at least appreciate you telling me instead of thinking I'm stupid. I know your mps, I'm an admin.

    Also, does it burn anyone else when people ask to start an rp and expect you to come up with the entire plot or offer no creative input whatsoever?

     Before I rant, there's a few things you have to know about me. I have Borderline Personality Disorder with auditory hallucinations. I am a fully functional (and fully medicated) member of society with almost no problems coping with real life. The only real problems I've run into are that I have severe organizational issues and a bit lot of clinginess.

     Dear You,
    Not posting for a month, trying to get me to play Out-of-character but in-character IM posts with you, and then signing off every time I say hi to you is not okay. I thought you a fool, but when you posted on the board you were an awesome role-player. So I was alright, I could wait. Leaving without a word from you except 'I'm sick', for another month started to bother me (especially because I had no idea if you were even alive or dead).

    What pushed me over the edge was when you came back, posted everywhere that your posts were needed, and then proceeded to yell at me (and not just me but every single other person on the forum who had threads with you... and in one case upsetting someone enough that they asked for their characters to be removed from the entire forum) the next day when I didn't post back to you within the hour. Yeah, you're pretty much on my 'hope you get trapped in a care fire' list now.

     A recent issue has come to my attention which begs to be addressed:

    Naming your character after yourself makes it a self-insert, or at least a character to whom you are destined to have an uncomfortable attachment. It is impossible to convince me otherwise.

    This is short and sweet, or not so sweet but whatever.

    Okay, let's use some common sense. You post and ask for comments (not the sort of "this is good" or "this is bad" comment you ask for when you post a fic or something but the "blah blah RP" sort of comment). And I commented. So It'd be nice if you commented back? I mean, you did ask for it.

    I do understand that sometimes people are too busy, etc, etc. It's just pretty disappointing when you comment somewhere and expect someone to answer back and then they never do.

    EDIT: Also. How exactly do you tell someone you know that they are not as perfect as they think they are (as in: they can improve and you know that and wouldn't mind giving them a few tips on how to do it) but are insanely afraid of the backlash?
